English Promenade Bench

Cast Iron and Hardwood English Promenade Bench.

Each cast end support is fronted with a monopodic lions mask and paw terminals and lattice decoration and is united by a scrolled slatted wooden seat. The bench is stamped with the foundry name of Henton & Chattell, Nottingham.

There is some wear to wooden slats, some general paint wear and loss, general wear and the roundel plaques to each end are lacking.

256 cms long x 86 cms high x 55 cms deep.

The bench is very heavy and is a four person lift.
