Belgium Empire Mirror

Belgium Empire mirror with original mercury-amalgam mirror plate.

This mirror has hand applied floral decoration, a small portion of which is missing from the base which is entirely consistent with age.  This piece is intricately detailed with it's original, foxed mirror plate with a new backboard applied.

Old damage and losses to the original gesso decoration on the lower left of the frame.
