French Napoleon Mirror

A mid 19th century French Napoleon III period, Regence style, gilt pastille-work ‘Margin’ mirror of excellent quality and proportions. The frame is decorated with fine pastille work ‘Rosettes’ motifs and with trellises of roses, surmounted by an out-sized, foliate scroll-work pediment. Area of Paris, circa 1860.
