French Walnut Commode

Late 18th century French carved walnut and fruitwood bombe commode with  serpentine top above three long drawers, over a carved apron centred with a shell and flanked by scrolls, raised on cabriole legs.

Superb patination of worn, deep walnut timbers polished by use over the years.
